Position Details

We have 7a-7p available. Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation is currently seeking a talented Certified Medication Aide to join our team.

The primary purpose of the CMA position is to ensure high-quality resident care, support staff, and promote a positive community reputation, aligning with Eduro Healthcare's values of wellness, compassion, customer experience, and results.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver routine daily medications, including prescription and non-prescription drugs.
2. Coordinate with nursing staff to assist with patient care and medication administration.
3. Follow written or verbal instructions for medication management.
4. Record medication dosages and administration times accurately.
5. Monitor patients and document any changes in their condition.
6. Collect samples for analysis as required.
7. Inspect and maintain medical equipment routinely.
8. Uphold all health and safety standards.
9. Respond promptly to patient call signals and address their needs.

Requirements

1. Must be a Certified Medication Aide and Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing or able to obtain certification in your state.
2. Minimum of 1 year experience as a CMA.
3. Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
4. Complete orientation as per company policy.
5. Health screening and TB testing within two weeks of employment, if required.
6. Mandatory drug testing within 90 days of hire.
7. Clear criminal background check.
8. Provide proof of identity and employment eligibility within three days of hire.
