Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate required.
• Successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Distribute medications and monitor residents under supervision.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living and ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records and observe changes in residents’ condition.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Lake Mills Care Center by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe. To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
