Job summary

Westview Care Center is seeking Certified Medication Aides to join our skilled nursing team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality daily resident care, including ADLs, while monitoring changes in residents and keeping a safe, well-documented environment.

We welcome applicants with an unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate or completion from an Iowa-accredited CNA program and require a Medication Aide course. Westview Care Center is an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resident care, including activities of daily living.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable. Medication Aide course completion required.

As a Certified Medication Aide, you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Westview Care Center by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
