Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield, IA is seeking Certified Medication Aides to join a caring team. You will administer medications, assist residents with daily living activities, observe health status changes, and maintain a safe environment while supporting ongoing education.

A strong focus on resident comfort and safety drives every shift. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, an Iowa CNA certificate, Iowa CMA training, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate.
• Completion of State of Iowa CMA training and CPR certification.
• One year CNA and Medication Aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor residents per care plan.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and observe condition changes.
• Ensure a safe environment and maintain resident education.

As a Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Bloomfield Care Center by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Certified Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
