Job summary

Delphi Technologies is seeking compassionate certified nursing assistants at a veterans services facility in Amarillo, Texas. You will assist in administering medications per physician orders and follow nursing standards and facility policies.

Key duties include reporting medication errors, supporting patient care programs to reduce errors, and ensuring compliance with state laws. A high school diploma, state CNA license, and Certified Medication Aide training are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state.
• Must be a Certified Medication Aide having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examinations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician and per established nursing standards and facility policies.
• Report errors in the administration of medications.
• Assist in programs to determine if medication errors are occurring and how to prevent them.

Responsibilites:

To assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state.

• Report errors in the administration of medications.
• Assist in programs of the facility that seek to determine if medication errors are taking place, when, where, and why they occur, and how they can be prevented.

Key Qualifications:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state
• Must be a Certified Medication Aide having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examinations in accordance with laws of the State.
