Broadway Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the afternoons 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM shift in Oklahoma. The role involves administering medications under supervision, recording doses, and monitoring resident safety in a compassionate, team-based setting.

Qualified candidates must hold CMA certification in Oklahoma, have a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be CMA certified in Oklahoma.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their families, and facility staff.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintains the 'five rights' of medication administration.
• Records all medications and treatments accurately.
• Notifies licensed staff when residents report pain.
• Takes and records vital signs as assigned or required.
• Observes for adverse reactions and reports to a licensed nurse.
• Performs duties to ensure resident safety and quality of care.
