This position ensures that residents receive their prescribed medications timely and accurately, contributing to their overall health and well-being. The CMA collaborates closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to monitor residents for any adverse reactions or changes in condition related to medication. Additionally, the role involves maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of medication administration and resident responses. Ultimately, the CMA helps to create a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment that promotes the highest quality of care for all residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification as required by the state of Oklahoma.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of medication administration principles and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow medication orders and care plans accurately.
