Job summary

Complete Care at Bey Lea Assisted Living in Toms River, NJ is seeking dedicated Certified Medication Aides to join our team. You will administer residents' medications according to physician orders and supervise residents who self-administer medications.

This part-time role offers shift differentials (3-11, 11-7, weekends), tuition reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff. We also provide opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Active NJ CMA certification is required for this role.
• Prior long term care experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer residents’ medication according to physician orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication.
• Report changes in resident’s physical or mental condition to Nursing staff.
• Work independently or as part of a group.
• Comply with local, state, and federal guidelines in all duties.
• Other duties as assigned by Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, or Administrator.

Certified Medication Aide Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must have an active, NJ Certified Medication AideCertification

Certified Medication Aide Responsibilities

• Supervise residents who self-administer medication

• Report any noted changes in resident’s physical or mental condition to Nursing staff

• Ability to work independently or part of a group

• Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines

• Other duties as assigned by Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
