Job summary

Grants Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to work under the supervision of the charge nurse. The CMA will ensure timely and accurate med passes to maintain high-quality resident care. Location: 840 Lobo Canyon Rd, Grants, NM 87020, USA.

The role requires communication in English, prior patient care experience preferred, and current CMA certification. You will participate in shift reports and follow nursing policies, with opportunities for raises and bonuses

Qualifications

• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Shift Report.
• Perform routine patient care per policies and procedures.
• Employ preventative and restorative measures.
• Follow hand washing techniques and infection control guidelines.
• Report changes in patient condition to the Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Report medication reorder and other supplies as needed.
• Participate in meetings and training.
• Inventory drugs on designated forms.

Job Summary

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) will be under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse will follow up with the CMA to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times. The position is located at 840 Lobo Canyon Rd, Grants, NM 87020, USA.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

CLINICAL

• Participate in Shift Report.
• Perform routine patient care in accordance with Federal, State, Company and Center nursing policies and procedures.
• Employs preventative and restorative measures.
• Follows hand washing techniques and other infection control guidelines during the performance of patient care.

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder, etc.
• Participates in all assigned meetings.
• Participates in all training, education or in-service as required.
• Inventory drugs, on the designated forms, as they arrive.
