Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Cedar Crest, New Jersey, is seeking part-time and per diem CNAs to support residents’ daily living and wellbeing. The role emphasizes compassionate care, personal care plan execution, and collaboration with clinical staff to maintain a high standard of resident comfort and safety.

Qualified applicants will hold current CNA certification, state Medication Administration credentials, and (ideally) CPR.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current CNA certification for the state where you work.
• Current Medication Administration certification as required by state.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Assist residents in activities of daily living, ensuring comfort.
• Implement personal care plans based on residents' strengths and routines.
• Provide assistance with resident activities and programs.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to address resident needs promptly; administer medications to residents.

How you will make an impact

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matterAdministration of medication to residents

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working
• Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 years of Medication Administration experience preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred.
