Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, is seeking caregivers to support residents in daily living and clinical tasks. This role offers part-time and per diem schedules with competitive hourly pay and a focus on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working.
• Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Assist residents in activities of daily living.
• Implement residents’ personal care plans focusing on preferences and routines while providing comfort and companionship.
• Provide assistance with resident activities and programs.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to address residents’ needs in a timely manner; administer medications to residents.

How you will make an impact

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matterAdministration of medication to residents

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working
• Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 years of Medication Administration experience preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred.
