Job summary

UC Health is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Technologist II for the core lab on first shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. A service bonus of $8,000 is included. Qualified candidates hold an ASCP certification and an associate degree in clinical laboratory science or MLS/ASCP.

Responsibilities include performing a range of testing per CLIA, maintaining equipment, and ensuring strict quality control. Cincinnati, OH location.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in clinical laboratory science or MLS/ASCP.
• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or medical technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs waived to highly complex testing as defined by CLIA.
• Operates, maintains, and repairs lab equipment.
• Maintains quality control procedures and documents results.
• Obtains blood specimens by venipuncture or skin puncture as trained.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and specimen integrity is preserved.
