Job summary

Texas Oncology in El Paso is seeking a Certified Medical Physicist (Ph.D or M.S.) to join our El Paso Team, supporting SRS, SBRT, and HDR programs across our centers. The team includes hematologists/oncologists, radiation oncologists, and oncology support staff, with in-house labs, imaging, and a full-time Oncology pharmacist.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in Physics/Medical Physics, ABR certification or CAMPEP residency, and 2–5 years of clinical radiation physics experience with

• Must be ABR certified, or have completed a CAMPEP approved residency and be board eligible, and have working experience in a clinical environment.
• Texas Medical Board license required.

Overview

Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified Medical Physicist (Ph.D or M.S.) to join our El Paso Team! Our El Paso locations are home to 12 Hematologists/Oncologists, 2 Board Certified Radiation Oncologists, 3 Nurse Practitioners, and a Physician Assistant. We also offer in house labs, imaging, and have a full-time Oncology pharmacist. Our centers handle an average of 110 patients per day, including SRS, SBRT, and HDR programs.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Applicants must have a Master’s degree or PhD in Physics or Medical Physics from an accredited college or university.
• Must be ABR certified, or have completed a CAMPEP approved residency and be board eligible, and have working experience in a clinical environment.
• Minimum two to five years’ experience in clinical radiation physics.
• Texas Medical Board license required.
