Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience for a 8-week, 100% remote contract. The assignment offers $35/hr on a W2 arrangement with weekly pay and benefits support from the staffing partner.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience, including ED coding, and proficiency with 3M and HDS coding applications, ICD-10/ICD-9-CM, CPT-4, and related payer/billing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• Emergency Room/ED coding experience required.
• Acute care coding experience.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application.
• Knowledge of HDS Coding Application.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to research and resolve coding issues.
• Certification CCS, CCP, AHIMA RHIA RHIT.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• English proficiency required.

Certified Medical Coder – Outpatient & ED

Work Arrangement: 100% Remote -

Job Type: Contract "

Duration : 8 weeks

Job Category: Non-Clinical

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Hours: 35 hours/week

Weekend Requirement: Must be comfortable working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)

Pay Rate : $35/hr on W2
