Job summary

You will work within a small billing team to manage claims, patient accounts, payer interactions, and HIPAA-compliant processes.

The role requires at least 5 years of medical billing experience, CPB and CMRS certifications, proficiency with medical billing software, and strong attention to detail and communication

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of medical billing experience.
• CPB certification.
• CMRS certification.
• Proficiency with medical billing software and claims processing.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Experience with accounts receivable and insurance verification.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Submit and process medical claims accurately and promptly.
• Verify insurance coverage and complete patient eligibility checks.
• Post payments and reconcile billing accounts.
• Manage denials and payer follow-up to resolve outstanding claims.
• Prepare and manage patient billing activities.
• Maintain accounts receivable and support timely collections.
• Review ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding for billing accuracy.
• Perform billing reconciliation and maintain accurate records.
