You will work within a small billing team to manage claims, patient accounts, payer interactions, and HIPAA-compliant processes.

The role requires at least 5 years of medical billing experience, CPB and CMRS certifications, proficiency with medical billing software, and strong attention to detail and communication

Job Description

The Certified Medical Biller will support billing operations across outpatient clinics, hospital billing departments, specialty practices, and revenue cycle companies. Reporting to a billing manager or practice administrator, this role will work within a small billing team to manage claims, patient accounts, payer interactions, and revenue cycle activities accurately and in compliance with HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Submit and process medical claims accurately and promptly.
• Verify insurance coverage and complete patient eligibility checks.
• Post payments and reconcile billing accounts.
• Manage denials and conduct payer follow-up to resolve outstanding claims.
• Prepare and manage patient billing activities.
