Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking an entry-level Medical Assistant to perform patient care activities under supervision of a physician, APP, or registered nurse, following established guidelines.

Education requirements include a GED or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program; experience may be substituted with one year of related clinical work. Required certifications include BCLS, CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required or
• In lieu of degree one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Licenses and Certifications
