Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a physician, APP, or RN in accordance with established guidelines. The role requires completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or equivalent clinical experience.

Certifications include CMA-AAMA or NCMA, and Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification. GED may supplement educational requirements.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required or
• In lieu of degree one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
