Qualifications

• Completion of accredited medical assisting program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or valid LPN license in Ohio required.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Criminal background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients chart for appointments and ensure testing and authorizations are on file.
• Lead patients to exam rooms and confirm vitals; review medications and medical history.
• Coordinate medications or tests, educate patients on treatments, and answer inquiries.
• Address sick/urgent calls promptly and manage prescription refills.
• Perform Spirometry, Ex Ox, Simple Stress Test, EKG, and FeNO testing.
• Carry out other duties and special projects as assigned.
