Job summary

Total Access Urgent Care in the greater St. Louis area is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our high-rated healthcare team.

You will be trained to expand your clinical skills, including IVs, EKGs, splinting, and vital signs, while supporting providers and patients throughout visits. This full-time role offers a clear path for higher pay based on performance, comprehensive benefits (Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k), PTO), and a flexible schedule with 3 days per week and alternating weekends.

• Learn and practice more skills because you are trained and trusted with a wider scope of practice including IVs, EKGs, and splinting.
• Triage patients to differentiate between immediate and less urgent care.
• Take patient vital signs and communicate patient needs and patient status to the providers.
• Apply splints and wound dressings, prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments including sterilization.
• Serve as a resource for other clinical staff.

Our services include IV hydration and medication administration, laceration suturing, reduction and splinting minor fractures and dislocations, and abscess drainage. Clear Communication:

• Pay: Start at $18/hr. Earn an additional $3-$5/hr within 2 years for time and performance achievements.

Requirements

• Completed a Medical Assistant program and are registered/certified (MA or CMA)
• Full-Time (3 days a week)
• 12-hour shifts (no overnights), alternate weekends, alternate holidays
• Driver's License
• Reliable transportation
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
• Desire to work in a fast-paced team environment
