Texas Health Resources is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a fast-paced, high-volume clinic in Arlington. The role requires CMA certification, a high school diploma, and 1 year of experience (strongly preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED.
• CMA certification is REQUIRED.
• One year of Medical Assistant experience is strongly preferred.
• Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training within 90 days of entry is REQUIRED.
• BCLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process.
• Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position.
• Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician.
• Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights.
• May work in the front office as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s).
