Job summary

CHC of Snohomish County in Everett, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a busy community health setting. The MA will escort patients, assist with minor procedures, take vitals, and maintain medical records to ensure smooth patient flow.

Requirements include a High School diploma or MA program completion (or 1 year MA experience), MA certification/ Interim status, CPR certification, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a Medical Assistant certified or interim (WA).
• CPR/Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.
• Immunities to measles, mumps, rubella and varicella documented.
• Proficient in English, able to communicate with patients.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person and by phone.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist in determining medical problems.
• Assist providers with minor diagnostic procedures and education; take vital signs and record results.
• Perform capillary and venous blood draws and administer injections as directed.
• Maintain exam and procedure rooms, stock supplies and manage scheduling.
