Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Plainfield, IL is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant (non-certified will be required to obtain certification after hire). The role involves patient intake, testing, documentation and close teamwork within a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required).
• 1+ year of related work experience (Preferred).
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Required).
• CMA/CMAC/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certifications (Required).

Responsibilities

• Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.
• Maintains education requirements for the position and demonstrates competency.
• Ensures efficient office flow by preparing patients and equipment for treatment, initiating testing, and documenting results.
