This role supports clinical and administrative functions, including assisting with procedures, room maintenance, patient intake, and efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service. Qualifications include 0-1 years in a medical setting or externship, knowledge of medical office procedures, and CMA or NCMA certifications with BCLS.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship completed.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency with medical record systems and MS Office/Google Suite.
• Infection control practices and medical terminology understanding.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to care for patients according to age-specific competencies.

Responsabilités

• Assist with clinical procedures: vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, vaccines.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for visits and procedures.
• Handle patient intake, triage calls, and document medical info.
• Review daily logs and maintain records.
• Support front-desk tasks: preregistration, scheduling, referrals, insurance checks.
• Maintain organized workload and provide courteous service.
• Monitor supplies and equipment inventory.
• Educate patients on medications and diets; answer questions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance and compliance with policies.
