Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, wound care, suture removal, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, urine tests, EKGs, and splinting.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties, including reporting test results, triage, and documenting medical information.
• Reviews and maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports administrative duties: pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, insurance eligibility, and clinic communications.
• Maintains an organized workload and provides prompt, courteous service to providers, patients and visitors.
• Monitors and requisitions clinic supplies and equipment to ensure inventory levels.
• Educates patients on medications, diets, and health topics; addresses questions.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
