Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the Pulmonary Medicine team. The role involves greeting patients, assisting with registrations, taking vital signs, and collecting health history, while supporting physicians during examinations and minor procedures.

You will perform injectables/immunizations as needed, manage prescriptions, and run onsite labs such as EKGs and pulmonary function tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher.
• CPR certification required or willing to become certified on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Prior MA/CMA/CNA/EMT experience or 2 years in medical office assisting.
• Experience using an electronic medical record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, vital signs, and health history collection.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor office procedures, dressing changes, and first aid.
• Assist with immunizations or injections as needed.
• Process prescriptions, pharmacy callbacks, and provider orders; update charting and filing.
• Conduct onsite lab testing such as EKG, pulmonary function, glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and provide excellent customer service.
• May travel to assist other local clinics.

Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
