Job summary

The Clackamas County Sandy Health Center is seeking a motivated Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. You will provide routine medical assistance to clinicians and support care team operations, with a focus on patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current certification/registration as a Medical Assistant by a nationally recognized program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
• Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with visits, obtain medical history and vital signs.
• Support providers during examinations and procedures including wound care and follow-up instructions.
• Perform basic first aid and collect specimens for laboratory testing when needed.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and sterilize instruments.
• Manage scheduling, referrals, records, and clinic reporting to support efficient patient flow.
