Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join a physician/APP office team. The MA-C will perform safe clinical skills under supervision and maintain close contact with physicians, nurses, and front office staff in a supportive patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Washington State MA-C certification required.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned, including organizing patient flow, interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting exams, specimen collection, and administration of medications under supervision.
• Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned, including sending/receiving patient records, facilitating referrals, and preparing forms for patients.
