Qualifications

• Graduated from ABHES or CAAHEP-accredited Medical Assisting program.
• Current CMA certification or recognition (AAMA/CMA, RMA, NCMA).
• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following clinic workflows.
• Greets patients, records vital signs, reviews allergies and medications, and documents visit reasons.
• Collects and prepares specimens for lab analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.
