Job summary

UofL Health's Bluegrass Cardiology Associates in Louisville, KY is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the medical team with triage, vital signs, patient history, EKGs, injections and EHR documentation.

Responsibilities include obtaining medical history, recording vitals, reconciling medications in the EHR, scheduling procedures, and coordinating with physicians and departments while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent (required).
• Medical Assisting degree preferred.
• One year of medical assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical history, triage patients, record vitals.
• Reconcile medication list in EHR.
• Respond to tasks promptly and report abnormal results to physician.
