Job summary

You will aid physicians in exam rooms, manage patient scheduling and registrations, handle calls and messages, and ensure clean exam spaces while maintaining HIPAA compliance and thorough charting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assisting degree preferred.
• One year of medical assisting experience or externship in a medical office.
• Medical Assisting certification (CMA/CCMA/RMA) and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the medical team with triage, vital signs, patient history, injections and EHR documentation.
• Support physicians in exam rooms and minor procedures.
• Schedule and register patients, handle paperwork, insurance cards, and copays; answer calls and triage messages.
