Qualifications

• Certification as Medical Assistant through a national professional association.
• Mastery of basic clinical and clerical tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic clinical and clerical support for quality patient care.
• Collect patient assessment data (vital signs, height/weight, symptoms) for licensed staff.
• Prepare patients for provider evaluation and assist during exams and procedures.
• Maintain clean and stocked work areas and sterilize equipment as needed.
• Document patient information in EMR promptly and accurately.
• Assist with lab procedures and specimen handling.
• Perform basic diagnostic tests as directed by licensed staff.
• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out and appointment scheduling.
