Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Active state license/registration required and kept current.
• BLS certification required upon hire and kept current.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Excellent customer service and positive attitude toward patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and setting up equipment.
• Monitor vital signs and medical history.
• Perform phlebotomy and assist with minor procedures.
• Assist with point-of-care testing and administer medications/vaccinations.
• Process registrations, verify insurance, and schedule appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Efficiently use EMR software for medical administrative support.
