Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant certification is required or willing to obtain within 90 days.
• BLS (AHA) certification preferred and to be maintained.
• Minimum one year of public-facing healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vitals and updating medical history.
• Assist with clinical procedures such as EKGs, injections, wound care, and immunizations.
• Collect and process lab specimens and document care in the EMR.
• Provide patient education, coordinate referrals and follow-ups, and support front office tasks.
