Job summary

MedLink Georgia is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support providers in Cleveland, GA. This full-time on-site role involves patient exams, vital signs, and EHR documentation (eClinicalWorks).

You will prepare rooms, assist with procedures, administer meds, and educate patients on treatments. Requirements include CMA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification: CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) required.
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• Experience: 1 year in a clinical setting preferred.
• Skills: strong communication, multitasking and patient care abilities; familiarity with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record patient histories, vital signs and updates in EHR (eClinicalWorks).
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Administer medications/injections as directed by providers.
• Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens.
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Handle scheduling, insurance verification and admin tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
