Job summary

MedLink GA in Habersham, GA seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care. This full-time role requires CMA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of clinical experience.

You will work with electronic health records and assist with exams and procedures. You will prepare exam rooms, administer medications, perform basic lab tests, educate patients, and handle scheduling and insurance tasks.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record histories, vitals, and updates in the EHR (eClinicalWorks).
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens.
• Educate patients on medications and treatment plans.
• Handle scheduling, insurance verification, and admin tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
