Job summary

The ideal candidate will assist with exams, schedule procedures, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining patient privacy. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, and Medical Assisting certification (CMA/CCMA/RMA) with BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MED assisting degree preferred.
• Certified medical assistant credentials (CMA/CCMA/RMA) preferred or required for position.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical history and triage patients; record vitals.
• Reconcile medication lists in EHR.
• Maintain accurate patient information and schedules.
• Assist physicians in exam rooms and minor procedures.
• Schedule tests, surgeries, and hospital admissions as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and families; ensure HIPAA compliance.
