Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under physician supervision in a clinical setting. You will support a multidisciplinary team, maintain medical records, take vitals, collect specimens, and help coordinate appointments.

The role requires a high school diploma and a national CCMA certification. Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred; strong communication and professionalism are essential in a fast-paced outpatient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• National Certification CCMA from NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT required.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake, update medical records, and administer appropriate screening tools.
• Record medical information and test results; conduct patient interviews, take vital signs, collect specimens, and administer medications under physician supervision.
• Assist with walk-in and scheduled clinic visits; verify and record clinical data per quality standards.
• Guide patients through the health care system and help them arrive at scheduled appointments on time.
• Prepare examination rooms; ensure rooms are ready, disinfect equipment, and stock supplies.
