Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse populations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use basic computer data entry.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms, and assist physicians during visits.
• Take vital signs and record in the medical chart.
• Perform EKG, PFT, audiometry and related tests as directed.
• Maintain patient records and assist with billing procedures as needed.
• Use computer software to support office operations and protect confidentiality.
