Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical care under supervision. You will prepare examination rooms, assist during physician visits, and record vital signs and patient data to ensure smooth visits.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, certification as a CMA, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient confidentiality and quality of care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with good academic record.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse populations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure.
• Knowledge of computerized processes and data entry procedures.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room, treatment room, supplies and instruments.
• Assist with patient visits and physician examinations as directed.
• Take patient vitals and record them in the medical chart.
• Perform basic clinical procedures and lab testing as indicated.
• Maintain patient records and assist with office workflows.
