Job summary

Campbell Clinic PC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support patient care across our outpatient clinics and ambulatory surgery centers. The role involves directing patients to treatment areas, collecting information to aid the physician, and assisting with minor procedures and dressings.

Requirements include CMA certification, a GED or high school diploma, and the ability to sit for the A-BROE exam.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required.
• Certified Medical Assistant required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Must be able to sit for and pass A-BROE certification.
• Computer literate; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and escorts patients to appropriate treatment areas
• Obtains appropriate information to aid the physician in the treatment of the patient
• Performs suture removal and dressing changes
• Assists physician in minor office procedures such as biopsies, injections and aspirations
• Schedules patient's appointments, tests and surgeries when necessary
• Assists in answering phone calls while in clinic
• Performs other related duties as assigned
