JOB LOCATION

JOB HOURS

Day shifts, Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays.

JOB SUMMARY

Seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care as part of the healthcare team.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform patient intake, including vital signs and clinical information.
• Take and document telephone messages, follow protocols, and inform providers.
• Administer medications as ordered or per protocols, following the six rights of medication administration.
• Participate in performance improvement projects.
• Set up for procedures, perform disinfection & sterilization, and other tasks within scope.
• Obtain prior authorizations for medications and equipment.
• Float within clinics to meet patient and provider needs as delegated.
• Assist with scheduling surgeries, posting cases, and COVID testing prior to surgery.
• Schedule follow-up appointments as needed.

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of clinical experience as a Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA, or ARMA required.
• BLS certification required.

JOB HOURS:

Day shifts only.
