Piedmont Medical Care Corporation in Georgia is hiring for Medical Assistant/ Nursing Assistant roles to provide direct patient care under physician supervision in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The successful candidate will work with a supportive team and follow established care guidelines to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Required certifications include BCLS, CMA-AAMA or NCMA, and an MA/NA program credential; GED is accepted with related clinical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (GED) preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.

Responsabilités

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required or
• In lieu of degree one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Required or
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT Required
