Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant for on-site patient care in Georgia. You will perform a range of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, APP, or registered nurse, following established guidelines and standards.

Qualified candidates include those with an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or an equivalent year of clinical experience. BCLS certification and CMA/NCMA credentials are typically expected.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred
• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program required
• In lieu of formal education, 1 year of medical assistant or related clinical experience required

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required or
• In lieu of degree one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Required or
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT Required
