Heritage Health is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support our Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. Be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes patient-centered care, staff development, and work-life balance.

The role emphasizes outpatient CMA duties with a focus on high-quality care, documentation, and teamwork. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm; compensation reflects CMA experience and state norms.

Qualifications

• Completion of nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant work experience and certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Certification from a nationally recognized organization or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of one year of prior outpatient medical assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supply ordering and tracking; communicate supply needs.
• Timely rooming of patients; perform vital signs and history documentation.
• Prepare exam rooms for procedures and assist during visits.
• Review quality measures and assist with documentation requirements.
• Return patient calls promptly and manage lab/test result communication.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock exam rooms; support other departments as needed.
