Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical workflows in our Kenosha, WI clinic. Under supervision, you will greet patients, prep them for visits, assist providers, and help manage education materials.

You will maintain supplies, prep rooms, document in EHR, perform basic procedures, schedule follow-ups, and communicate with teams. Applicants should have a High School diploma and MA certification; BLS is preferred; EHR proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Medical Assistant Program preferred or equivalent.
• Entry level for qualified candidates.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire.
• Current medical assistant certification or registration.
• Knowledge of telephone etiquette, typing, computer, calculator, copy machine, fax machine and MA duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for provider visits.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with routine procedures.
• Maintain patient flow and accurate vitals collection.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Administer medications and perform basic procedures as ordered.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and tests; inform patients accordingly.
• Provide patient education materials and discharge instructions.
• Communicate clearly with providers and staff.
• Continuously improve knowledge and skills; complete trainings.
