Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Assistant to support ambulatory care under the direct supervision of a physician. The role includes performing direct and indirect care tasks as part of the care team, following the patient care plan and clinic policies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, MA diploma or associate degree, or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, plus strong communication and teamwork skills and EMR proficiency. BLS certification is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant diploma or associate degree or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work in a team; computer proficiency including EMR systems.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross; on-campus roles may not require BLS in all work areas.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned direct and indirect care in ambulatory settings under physician supervision.
• Actively participates as a member of the health care team and follows the patient care plan.
• Adheres to organization policies, procedures, and relationship-based care principles.
