Job summary

You will document in patient records, assist with routine clinical procedures, gather histories and vitals, and support education for patients. A current CMA credential and a Texas NCT permit are required, with 1–3 years of healthcare experience and customer service skills preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years healthcare related experience.

• Current approved medical assistant credential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient confidentiality and discretion when discussing patient information.
• Assist physician and clinical staff under physician direction and clinic policies.
• Take patient history and vitals; document in health records.
• Perform or assist with routine clinical procedures as directed.
• Prepare forms and documents for physician review and signature (e.g., home health, certs).
• Maintain infection control practices and autoclave QA records.
