Northwest Health Medical Group - Porter is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Indiana to support clinical and administrative functions under supervision. You will assist with procedures, manage exam rooms, and ensure efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service.

The ideal candidate has CMA (AAMA) or NCMA certification, BCLS, and 0-1 years of experience or completion of externship.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship completed.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency in medical record systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures and tests.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for patient visits.
• Manage patient intake and triage per provider instructions.
• Review daily logs and documentation.
• Support administrative duties (pre-register, schedule, referrals, eligibility).
• Provide prompt, courteous service to patients and visitors.
• Monitor inventory and equipment.
• Educate patients on medications and diets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
