Job summary

Billings Clinic's West End Primary Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (1.0 FTE) to join the team. Under general supervision, you will support patient care and provide clerical assistance, collaborating with physicians, APPs, RNs, and LPNs to meet patients’ needs.

The role emphasizes vaccines, minor procedures, and patient education. Starting wage DOE is posted, with hours per pay period of 80 hours every two weeks.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) certification or license.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Experience with vaccines and minor procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient exam rooms, equipment, and supplies based on examination requirements.
• Assist with patient scheduling, registrations, and co-pay collection.
• Obtain and record patient history and vital signs; document in medical record.
• Collect laboratory specimens per department guidelines.
• Administer vaccines as per guidelines.
• Assist with minor procedures and dressings; support patient education.
